The relaxed fit is perfect for my 4-year-old because he can pull them on himself without a fight. That denim check print looks way sharper than plain sweats, honestly. Washed them twice already and the softness hasn't faded a bit.
My son basically lives in these now, and the relaxed fit gives him room to run around without them riding up. The fabric is that same soft feel as his other joggers, so no complaints about itchiness. Washing them twice a week and the blue check still looks sharp.
The blue check pattern looks even better in person, and the fabric has that worn-in softness right out of the bag. My kid can run around all day without the waistband digging in, which is rare for us.
